As a modern tool supplier KS Tools SAS, based in Mommenheim (France) in more than 60 countries solutions and intelligent tools for industry for industry, the automotive sector and the trade. The comprehensive product range includes wrenches, screwdrivers screwdrivers, pliers, electrician's tools, automotive tools, construction tools and pneumatic tools.

A standard solution for PIM and cross-media publishing was implemented for KS Tools SAS on the basis of the crossbase standard software. The product data is maintained in a clear product hierarchy. The sales items available in the ERP, including parts lists and price data, are regularly posted in crossbase. In addition, periodic data is transferred from KS Tools Germany on the basis of BMEcat. The products have an intersection, but are partly different.

The data is then enriched with extensive technical features, images, documents and texts and mapped in various market- and media-specific product views.

These include the catalogs produced independently by KS Tools SAS and target group-specific
brochures. In addition, the product information is displayed on the website with webshop (CMS: Magento), which is connected via an API server. This guarantees up-to-date information at all times and greatly simplifies data maintenance. This maintenance is supported by the automatic generation of marketing texts from text modules. This leads to uniformly structured texts and minimizes the translation effort.

The solution provides a high benefit for sales through the output of electronic catalogs in BMEcat format for trading partners and portals. The next step planned is to connect dealers and distributors via API.
